  15. FileMaster is copyright ©1992 by Toni Wilen, all rights reserved.
  16. This is SHAREWARE. Because of low registration pays I have made two
  17. different versions of FileMaster: unregistered version for public
  18. distribution and registered one with more features.
  19.  
  20. To register send a contribution of 15 USD, 30 DM or 50 FIM, then
  21. you'll get the newest registered version of FileMaster and SysSpy
  22. and next major update of them. You will get the newest version in
  23. 2-8 weeks with complete documentation. The registered version of
  24. FileMaster is only for your personal use and it includes your name,
  25. so you must NOT spread it! Your name will also be added to the list
  26. of registered users. SysSpy is program which spys task's calls to
  27. different libraries. Libraries included for example are dos, exec,
  28. intuition, powerpacker...

  80. Cut    Cuts a part from file and save it to other file

  82. Join    With this command, a file will be joined to other file
  83.  
  84. Config    There is a totally different config system in this
  85.     version. Almost every command has own config menu.
  86.     There is no longer Config-command, only Config
  87.     button, which activate config mode.

  89. Crunch    Now you can also crunch files. Crunch-command uses
  90.     powerpacker.library, which now support crunching.
  91.     You can define efficiency and speedup buffer's
  92.     size.

  98.     - FileMaster doesn't need req.library anymore.
  99.       Powerpacker.library is needed only if you want to decrunch or
  100.       crunch files. Powerpacker.library is copyright by Nico François

  102.     - for flicker fixer users, Filemaster supports now full screen in
  103.       interlaced mode.

  105.     - supports OS 2.0 application icon in sleep mode

  107.     - user can now change Filemaster's priority, 'to go...value' show
  108.       range, double click's speed, and Filemaster's fonts etc..

  110.     - when using parent-command, user can define the number of recall dirs,
  111.       so Filemaster reads previous directory from memory instead of disk

  113.     - when making directories, you can define the icon file, which
  114.       will be copied for directory

  116.     - a totally new ShowAsc and ShowHex viewer. Smoother scrolling,
  117.       also support for keypad commands (Home,end,Pg up, Pg DN).
  118.       Intelace and mouse mode support. Use 's'-key to search chars.

  120.     - text and graphics printing in multitasking, so you can do something
  121.       else with Filemaster while it's printing. Also you can define
  122.       printing parameters like printing quality and special density for
  123.       cheating the printer to print each line more than two times.
  124.       So if you have an old ribbon, you can still use it. When printing
  125.       graphics, you can define printing direction, positive or negative, 
  126.       black and white, grey or color.

  128.     - ShowPic-command shows overscanned pictures in center of screen.

  130.     - you can re-read the contents of directory by clicking buffer's
  131.       number with right mouse button
  132.  
  133.     - now you can define frequency, buffer size and repeat on/off
  134.       for hear-command.

  136.     - when you put your own commands onto gadgets, you can define
  137.       command's name (max. 8 chars) and command's path separately.
  138.       Now every command has it's own config (output window, WB
  139.       to front, FileMaster to sleep after running)
  140.  
  141.     - clicking right mouse button when mouse is over gadgets equals
  142.       clicking on 'Menu' gadget or pressing space.

  144.     - there are no more devices and volumes separately, but you can still
  145.       select each of them depending on do you click on the device or on
  146.           the volume's name. Now the volume's name is after device name.
  147.       For example if disk doesn't exits in DF0-drive, there will be
  148.       empty after DF0: text.

  150.     - double clicking feature supports powerpacked files!

  152.     - on the top of file window is also shown used space of device in
  153.       percents. (Because of percent value there isn't space for texts
  154.       'used' and 'free'. The first value is used bytes and the second
  155.       one free bytes.)

  157.     - Not anymore 'reset vectors set'-notices, when ZKick, OS2.0 with
  158.       RAD or Oktagon HD-software has changed it.

  160.     - DiskInfo-command shows more info about device when only device's

  164.     - You can add or sub protection flags in protect-command.
